Bubbles for the Bumblebees this afternoon! Lots of sensory fun in the classroom today, with the children enjoying popping and exploring bubbles!

ATTENDANCE BEARS UPDATE! It's our Celebration Assembly today! (We know... Attendance Bears on a Monday feels a little strange! ) Last week, Everyday Elsa went to the Ladybirds! Fantastic attendance – well done! On Time Ozzy goes to the Owls! Brilliant punctuality – no lates, super work! We are so proud of you all – keep it up!

With the beautiful weather forecast, we're excited to bring forward one of our firm favourites... Freezer Pop Fridays! Ice pops will be on sale this Friday at 3.15pm, for 50p each!

Instead of our usual celebration assembly today, the children enjoyed a very special treat from the Newhall Junior School choir – and what a treat it was! Take a look at our amazing sea of green as we came together to raise awareness for Mental Health Awareness Week A big thank you to the choir for such a lovely performance – it really brightened our day!

Gresley Rovers Girls FC are still looking for Year 2 girls to come and join the fun! We already have some of our girls attending these sessions and loving it – it would be fantastic to see even more of you there! Come along, get involved and have a go!

To celebrate the end of a wonderful term and the end of our Land Ahoy! topic, we are very excited to be hosting a BIG Pirate Party next Friday! Children are invited to come dressed in their pirate costumes (optional but definitely encouraged!) or they can wear non-uniform of their choice We have a fun-packed day planned, including: Walk the plank Pin the eye patch on the pirate Treasure hunts around school ...and lots more pirate-themed fun! It's going to be an amazing day and one they won't want to miss!

Year 1 get moving with Joe Wicks! Today they took part in an interactive PE lesson with Joe Wicks, joining over 6,000 schools across the country! As part of Mental Health Awareness, the session included a fantastic live workout alongside a discussion about how exercise makes us feel . The children loved getting active, having fun, and learning how movement can boost our mood and wellbeing! A brilliant experience for all involved – well done Year 1! Don't forget! Tomorrow we are inviting everyone to wear green to help raise awareness for mental health and show our support

What an exciting afternoon at school today! We were thrilled to welcome Dimensions Curriculum into school, who visited to chat with both our wonderful staff and our fabulous children about their learning and what they love most about it. They approached us to feature on their social media channels, and we were so excited to be involved! Our children were absolute stars in front of the camera – confident, enthusiastic and full of smiles! And our staff gave it a brilliant go too! We are so proud of everyone who took part and can't wait to see the final result!
