First day of school smiles! Our Reception children enjoyed their first session today without their grown-ups and they all did brilliantly! We loved seeing so many happy smiles and confident little faces as they began their Sunnyside journey. #SuperSunnyside

Open Door Session – Tomorrow! A special invitation for our Year 1 and Year 2 parents! Come along to our Open Door Session tomorrow, Wednesday, 3:15–4:00pm. It's a lovely opportunity to pop in, say hello to your child's teacher, have a look around their classroom and ask any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you!

Our wonderful Caterpillars are waving goodbye to nursery today as they get ready for their next big adventure! We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you and all that you've achieved this year. It has been a joy to watch you learn, grow, and make so many special memories. We wish you all a fantastic summer filled with fun, laughter, and adventure before you start big school in September – we know you'll all be amazing!

Today we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 2s! What an incredible year group you have been! We are so proud of everything you have achieved, the friendships you have made, and the memories we have shared together. As you get ready for your next adventure, we know you will continue to shine brightly and make us proud. Good luck, Year 2 – we will miss you all so much! Just ONE more get-up! Don't forget it's non-uniform tomorrow as we celebrate the last day of term together!

A trip down memory lane... We've been digging through the photo archives and found three staff photos from across the years at Newhall Infants... and what a difference time makes! One thing is very clear – our Newhall family has grown so much over the years! (Although, in our most recent photo, a few members of staff were unfortunately missing, so it's not quite the full team!) Now for the fun part... Can you spot any familiar faces?
